Refund policy.

Thank you so much for working with me. Due to the service oriented nature of my offerings, refunds are only available on a limited basis. 

  • Book Buddy subscribers are free to cancel their subscription at any time. Prorated refunds are available for cancellations that occur mid-month due to sickness, financial emergencies, family emergencies, and other extenuating circumstances to be negotiated. To cancel a subscription log into your account on www.katesenecal.com and follow the steps to cancel or email Kate with a request to cancel. If you’d like to request a partial refund for a cancelled subscription email Kate at klynnsenecal@gmail.com describing your circumstances. Prorated funds will be refunded within 14 days. 

  • No refunds are available for single one hour coaching sessions or coaching packages

  • No refunds are available for any developmental editing services

  • Extenuating circumstances: if you are deeply unsatisfied with services rendered, or a life emergency disallows you from appropriately using the services you’ve purchased, a full refund will be considered if no services have been rendered at the time of the request and a prorated refund will be considered if some services have been rendered.

I’m happy to be flexible with scheduling, however I ask you adhere to the following policies:

  • Coaching sessions that are rescheduled or cancelled with less than 12 hours notice will incur a late cancellation fee of $50. Of course emergencies happen, so contact Kate at klynnsenecal@gmail.com to request to waive the penalty. 

  • Kate will read up to 25 double spaced pages and submit them to the client with margin notes up to an hour before a scheduled coaching session. Clients with coaching sessions on Tuesdays must submit pages to Kate at klynnsenecal@gmail.com by the Saturday before at noon. Sessions scheduled on other days require submission AT LEAST 24 hours in advance. 48 hours is preferred. If pages are received later than 24 hours in advance, there comments will not be supplied until after the coaching session
